· General availability of libRIST
· Release of RIST Main Profile
· Updates to Simple Profile and Interoperability Levels for Main Profile
· Launch of Free Compatibility Test Server
· Release of Advanced Profile with Tunneling and Multi-Protocol Support

Join a panel of experts as we discuss the applications of RIST Advanced Profile. Released at the end of 2021, RIST Advanced Profile (TR-06-3:2021) greatly expands the functionality and interoperability of RIST devices, providing new capabilities that enable a wide variety of reliable, secure media signal transport applications.
RIST Advanced Profile includes a protected tunnelling mode that can carry any legacy protocol, including RTP-based media signals such as SMPTE ST 2110, ST 2022 and MPEG TS over UDP. In addition, bidirectional protocols based on TCP can be transported securely and reliably in the same packet tunnel while consuming only a single UDP port to simplify firewall configuration. Enhancements have also been made to RIST security features, to add support for some of the latest encryption and authentication technologies.
In this webinar, we will discuss the use cases where the features and functionality of Advanced Profile will make a difference for users.
When: Tuesday 30th August, 11am EST
Moderator: Wes Simpson, President, LearnIPVideo

Join us on 7th December 2021 at 10am Central Time (US and Canada) for a roundtable on RIST multi-link technology.
The RIST protocol is an open Industry Specification for low-latency, reliable video transport over the Internet. One of the most important features of RIST is support for Multi-Link operation. In Multi-Link, there are multiple connections between the sender and the receiver, typically over different ISPs or channels.
This feature is useful in two scenarios:
Bonding: the capacity of the various connections is combined to provide additional bandwidth
Seamless Switching: multiple copies of the content are sent simultaneously, for reliability purposes
This roundtable will examine the multi-link technology built into RIST (and available in the open-source libRIST), with actual field deployment examples.
To register, please email Suzana Brady
The RIST protocol has been around for a couple of years. During that time, it has been implemented in a wide range of video products and solutions and has been deployed for a variety of use cases across the world.
During this roundtable, end users and suppliers will discuss real life applications, reporting on what they have done, why they use RIST, challenges they have faced, and what they have learnt in the process of using RIST.
Among the use cases to be discussed, we will explore multilink seamless redundancy switching, tunnelling of PTZ signals over a RIST connection, load share, managing remote devices using RIST tunnel, bidirectional streaming, and much more.
Participants:
Rick Ackermans, Director of RF and Transmissions Engineering for CBS Operations & Engineering
Dr. Sergio Ammirata, Chief Scientist at SipRadius LLC
Dr Ciro Noronha, EVP of Engineering at Cobalt and President of the RIST Forum
Adi Rozenberg, CTO and Co-Founder at Video-Flow
